    Visit the Grange Project

An 80-acre nature restoration site in Monmouthshire, between Monmouth and Abergavenny. Tom and Chloe live here with their family, restoring former silage grassland into meadows, wetland and woodland, with grazing herbivores and pigs doing much of the work. There are several ways to spend time here, and one way to listen from anywhere.

In March 2026 the Welsh Government named the Grange Project as one of twelve sites assessed in the first pilot phase of Naturfa, the designation for land contributing to Wales' target of protecting 30% of land for nature by 2030, and recommended the project for progression along the Naturfa Pathway.

    What's on

Free open mornings run most months: a guided walk around the project with Tom or Chloe, and time to ask anything. Community days are hands-on: planting, seeding, building habitat, with lunch from the market garden. Courses are run with visiting experts, from seed saving to soil health. Everything below is bookable on its own page.
