You're someone who can hold the bigger picture. You want to influence systems, not just participate in ones that were never fit for purpose, and won't hold out as we meet the challenges of these times. Your awareness of power dynamics and misuse of power, climate change, food resilience, Nature loss and social injustice is growing every day. But saying you're an activist just doesn't sit right either.
You're also a leader within your community or organisation but wouldn't necessarily describe yourself as one. That word comes with baggage, so calling yourself a leader can feel awkward. You've given it a lot of thought, and you know there are different ways to lead even if you can't quite articulate them yet.
What if you didn't have to call yourself a leader or an activist? What if there was something that spoke to your sense of concern and responsibility for the world we're leaving to future generations? That recognises Nature as part of the solution, not just a place to seek refuge when you're stressed or exhausted? What if you began to think of yourself as a Wilder Citizen?
Well, there is, and here's why we think you're going to love the Wilder Citizens Catalyst: a six-month hybrid programme, in person and online, for people who want to be a catalyst for systemic change within their community or organisation. Together, we'll explore the question: what if we could find a way through this with Nature, with a renewed sense of personal power and collective agency?
Whatever you've been doing before you join the Catalyst, however frustrated you've felt, or fruitless you feel your efforts have been, it wasn't a waste. Your timing is perfect. You are bringing your unique life experience with you as you step up and meet this moment.
Or perhaps you've already figured out how you can make a difference, and want to build on your success and maintain momentum without burning out. With the support of an intimate group of passionate, purposeful peers who get what it's like to pioneer change within communities and organisations that are crying out for a new way, but have been built on old and crumbling foundations.
We know how busy you are, how just getting to the end of the day can feel enough. That's why we believe everyone deserves the time and space to be able to step away from the everyday, and put their heads above the parapet of their team, family and personal interests to envision a world they'd be proud to leave behind.
We also know change is more fun and happens faster with a community, and this isn't a time for going it alone. Wild times call for a wilder network that will gift you the insights, guidance and accountability of others who have shared intentions and values. Not people who are the same as you, but who bring diverse perspectives, which catalyse the kind of conversations that turn ideas into tangible actions and create meaningful change.
We truly believe this is possible for you, and at Wilder Citizens we're going to do everything in our power to make sure you stop wondering what you can do, or if you can sustain it, and start being the person who sees the beauty even though it isn't pretty every day. Who makes small waves that send out ripples wherever they go, and affects wider systemic change over the long term.
The person who can look back at your life and say you did everything you could, while laughing, crying and making merry with those who chose to do the same. Celebrating each other's successes, failures and everything else in between.

How this will help
The Catalyst is designed to bring out the best in you and the group as a whole. Over six months, you will:
- Receive a warm welcome at the Grange Project to enjoy space away from your everyday life to pause, think and unpack the ideas, questions and concerns you may be carrying about climate change and the polycrisis
- Relax in a nurturing environment with nourishing food, restorative time with Nature, and the opportunity to learn new skills and foster supportive friendships and connections
- Have everything you need, with a balance of structured and unstructured time, to declutter your mind, let your body unwind and envision the ways in which you are best placed to create systemic change
- Get best practices for getting clarity on your unique role, giving shape to ideas and taking inspired action to create effective change, in a way that honours your capacity and maintains momentum without overwhelm or burnout
- Walk away with research-backed strategies for communicating your intention and values with family, friends and colleagues in a way that is inclusive and motivates others to collaborate and work towards a shared vision
- Gain support from an intimate peer group with shared intentions, values and a commitment to becoming catalysts for change within their profession, organisation or wider network for more flourishing futures

Where you'll be staying
For our spring and autumn retreats you'll be held by 80 acres of rewilded land near Monmouth, Wales, with wide views extending across to the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains.
The Grange Project is the kind of place where you remember lost words from childhood, like blackbird, bramble and conker. Wake feeling rested to the sound of the dawn chorus. Watch swallows pond dip, and kestrels hover over fields of long grass. Can almost taste the sunset, and gasp with wonder as bats dive overhead, owls hoot in the distance, and a silvery moon rises high in the starlit sky as dusk turns to night.

Online support between retreats
Monthly online circles
Between retreats, you have access to three monthly online peer support circles. These introduce key themes with tools and practices to help you navigate the challenges you may experience as you put your vision into action. There is also space for discussion, guided by what the group needs to feel well supported.
1:1 mentoring
You are invited to two 1:1 mentoring sessions to use as you wish. This could be to discuss a sensitive issue, tackle a challenge specific to your situation, or simply share what's on your mind and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Self-organised community
The Catalyst WhatsApp group (optional) is a self-organised peer support space to share successes and failures, ask for tips and advice, share resources, and encourage and celebrate each other as you work together towards systemic change.
Investment
We offer three tiers of investment. You can decide which is most appropriate for your financial situation and the value you feel you will gain from the programme over the course of your lifetime, and that of future generations.
Prices are not subject to VAT.
Retreat accommodation
Choose your accommodation for both retreats (six nights in total, three at each).
- Cabin: £500 for six nights. Two cabins only.
- Glamping: £720 for six nights
- Camping in your own tent: free
- Campervan or live-in vehicle: free
There are only two cabins, so most of the group will stay in glamping tents or in their own tent or vehicle.

What people say
“We had an idea for a business but weren't sure how to translate our ideas into something tangible that felt authentic to both of us and suited our personality types. One of the things I appreciated most was how much Jess respected and validated each of our strengths. Working as a couple comes with unique challenges, but Jess really helped me see the value in our different roles. Through her guidance, I found confidence in my contributions, and that's been a game changer for how I show up. Jess brought clarity, calm, and direction to every step of the process. Together, we created a living strategy, something practical, adaptable, and ever-evolving. Anything Jess asked us to develop, reflect on, or work through always helped us connect more deeply with our values and vision in order to achieve our goals. Jess paced everything in a way that allowed us to build something truly meaningful to both of us. We've built a business grounded in purpose, values, and solid strategy. If you're serious about building something that lasts and that feels truly authentic to you, I can't recommend Jess highly enough.”
“I had reached a place of deep dissatisfaction and burnout. Since having a baby, I wanted to evolve my life and business to be more aligned with my values. I wanted to be in my creative zone of genius, and make more space for my own ideas, rather than delivering on other people's. It's hard to think of anything that hasn't changed since working with Jess. I've got a clear path for how to live my purpose, and lead from the heart, share my gifts and be the change I want to see in the world. I've found a much better way to scale without burnout. Jess helped me to not burn the bridges of everything I had achieved but to reimagine how to offer my expertise in a way that's more suited to my new priorities in motherhood. I'm charging more, working less, spending more time in creative energy and flow. Jess also helped me to launch and evolve my second and third businesses, deeply aligned soul work, and has helped me begin to leverage and monetise my knowledge and insights as a thought leader. I'm going from strength to strength, carving my own niche as a category of one. Having someone help me weave all the threads of my life together was such a rich process, and I really valued how fluent Jess is in all the areas of my life: regenerative ways of working, nature connection, women's work, matrescence, spirituality, archetypes and more. I really valued her wisdom as a guide, a wise elder walking the path a few steps ahead of me. Jess helped me see another way is possible and I highly recommend her as a mentor and guide.”
“Right from the first conversation, Jess helped me put some words to the things I'd been dreaming of, and to allow myself to believe that they might be possible for me. Jess has given me so many things I wasn't able to provide for myself at that time, and held them for me while I got comfortable with them: the belief that I could run a business, even one that I literally just made up. The emotional support I needed to keep going, to face the gremlins, to work through the imposter syndrome and the panic and to carry on anyway. The practical things I needed to know to actually sell things to people, and the encouragement I needed to make myself do it. Jess has shown me that there's another way to be a founder that doesn't match the stereotype of the entrepreneur, and she's helped me create an identity and a way of working that is sustainable for me, and aligned with my purpose and vision for the world. In under six months I've gone from feeling stuck and lost to having a vision, a business and the confidence and the tools to achieve my goals. I couldn't have imagined this for myself when we started working together, and I'm so glad that I took the leap of faith.”
“As a team we needed time and space to talk and think things through. The Grange Project gave us the perfect setting. Tom and Chloe are great hosts, they worked hard at making sure we got the most out of our time with them; the conference room and hub is a wonderfully flexible space, a mixture of clubhouse, conference room and dining room with picture perfect views of the rural Monmouth landscape. A safe, informal and inviting space. Chloe worked with us to help facilitate our conversations. Each of us found her insights, questions and interventions really helpful. She set a good pace for the day, kept to timings and brought us into land smoothly. Lastly and very importantly, the food was nothing short of amazing. All home cooked, a lot of it straight from the project's vegetable gardens. Rather wonderfully we cooked our own pizzas together in the evening, this simple event provided us further time to talk and enjoy each other's company. We will be back!”
“The Grange Project offers an amazing opportunity for people to come together in a relaxed, beautiful environment which engages with nature at its best. Chloe was helpful, informative, attention to detail was amazing and they have developed a safe space for thought provoking conversations whilst providing different ways to interact with each other. This venue is highly recommended and won't disappoint.”
Who this is for
The Catalyst is for you if you:
- Are a professional who works at a leadership level, or someone who may describe themselves as a non-traditional, community or grassroots leader, and want to be a catalyst for systemic change
- Have a deep sense of concern about climate change, the polycrises and how we create resilient food, healthcare and social systems that can adapt and even flourish in response to complex challenges
- Want to explore the idea of what it means to be a citizen, with an increased sense of personal power and collective agency that are in service to all life on this planet
- Value shared insights and intentions, and being part of and nurturing a community that supports one another to thrive without shying away from difficult emotions
- Refuse to give up on the kind of world you long to leave behind, and are willing to do the inner work as well as take the actions needed to create meaningful change
This is not for you if you:
- Don't think Nature is part of the solution, or aren't willing to explore this as a pathway to more flourishing futures for all species
- Are content with sticking your head in the sand, and just hoping things will get better, that tech will save us, or can't get past "what's the point of trying?"
- Can't see how doing the inner work and slowing down long enough to come back into relationship with yourself, others and Nature has anything to do with effecting systemic change or addressing the urgency of these times
