Grange Project September Community Day

About This Event

Join us for our September community day - catch the last of the summer rays and help us harvest the bounty of wilder nature

We'll have a range of activities available including:
Scything and raking the grassland - helping to disturb and distribute seed across the rewilding site
Sapling assessment - checking in on how many survived the summer drought and what we need to replace during the tree planting season
Apple and blackberry harvesting - please take as much as you would enjoy!
Market garden - help us reset ready for winter planting
Upgrading 'project path' - makes a huge difference to the winter access
Learning to forage - a collective knowledge sharing for those of us keen to extend our larder

Timetable will be as follows:

9:30am - Tea & Coffee
10am - Briefing
10:15am - Tour of the Project/Activity 1
12:30 - Lunch
13:30 - Activity 2
15:15 - Tea/Coffee & Cake

We'll send out details of how to find us, what equipment might be useful to bring and any other information 5 days prior to the event.
