Tiny Home Project
Would you like to wake-up in the morning to one of the best views in Monmouthshire, where only the birds are noisy and in the knowledge you are helping to support one of the largest ‘rewilding’ projects in the area? Fingers crossed you will, which is why we’re currently applying to Monmouthshire County Council for a few strategically placed Shepherd’s Huts, alongside the conversion of one of our agricultural barns for a communal space of learning, relaxing and socialising.
How it started:
Planning application is in with Monmouth County Council explaining our vision and hopes for the Tiny Homes and communal barn space.
Work has started on our sustainable ‘tiny homes’ (take a look at the videos). Si from the Tiny Home Company is providing some much needed expertise and support. We hope to have both ‘wagons’ completed by June. It’s all very exciting!
How it’s going:
The design for the wagons has focused on sustainability and the need to have zero impact on the landscape. (Our cabins will be towable and only placed on the project for Spring and Summer).
With the frame up we will now focus on insulation and waterproofing the frame with a breathable membrane.
